Dark romance, delicately reimagined.

This bangle has been repurposed from vintage sugar tongs, once used to delicately serve cubes at afternoon tea.

A open cuff style bangle has been transformed from vintage silver plated sugar tong, its pointed arch detailing echoing the grandeur of Gothic architecture. The elegant peaks and sculpted lines curve around the wrist like cathedral windows, creating a silhouette that feels both dramatic and refined.

There’s a quiet intensity to this design — a nod to candlelit corridors, sweeping staircases, and the charged glances of high society.

Perfect for the romantic with an edge, this piece suits someone who loves history - but prefers it with a little mystery. The Gothic arch motif gives it strength and presence, while its origins as a genteel tea-table utensil add a layer of intrigue.

Once used to serve sweetness, it now makes a statement - architectural, evocative, and unapologetically dramatic.

From a vintage decorative sugar tong, shaped and formed with traditional metalworking techniques to create a lovely simple open cuff bangle.

Slightly adjustable to fit, this one is a size medium (to fit wrists 150mm to 170mm)

Material: Silver Plated

Size: 60-65mm diameter, 14mm wide

Gift wrapping : Every item of Silver Birch Jewellery comes beautifully wrapped ready to gift.

Items made from vintage flatware are treasures with a history and a story. They may show evidence of their past through minor marks which I was unable to remove when polishing, but this only adds to the wonderful story it has to tell.
